My photo, "Call Collect," draws inspiration from William Eggleston, capturing a simple yet colorful scene reminiscent of the past. Although it was taken in 2021, it could just as easily be from 1984. Green River, Utah, feels like a town frozen in time—a once-bustling place now living as a shadow of its former self. I was instantly captivated by the burned out, mid-century designs scattered throughout, relics of the past like this payphone, still standing. And the warmth and kindness of the locals made this place even more special.
