Description
My photo, "American Elm Up Close," was taken in the famous Central Park Elm Grove in the fall of 2020. I wanted to capture the near-peak color of the trees that day by zooming in close enough to exclude the sky and ground. I also aimed to highlight the wonderful texture of the bark. In post-processing, I added an Orton Effect to give the image a more painterly feel.
