Description
My photo, "Japanese Maple," was captured at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden during the peak of spring bloom. I crouched beneath the maple tree to position the out-of-focus leaves in the foreground, with the setting sun shining through in the background. The warm sunlight illuminated the underside of the leaves, bringing out their brilliant red color.
