My photo, "Stratification of Color," was taken in Joshua Tree National Park, California. This incredible scene was captured from our campsite in the park, and what a beautiful view to wake up to. This image is all about layers: layers of color in the sky, and layers of darkness in the hillsides. Each ripple becomes slightly less dark, creating a sense of depth and tranquility.
