Queens in Spring

Description
My photo, "Queens in Spring," captures the iconic Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NYC. This 140-foot-tall stainless steel structure, originally a symbol of the 1964 World’s Fair, still stands as a landmark of Queens. Surrounded by beautiful cherry blossom trees, which bloom in a stunning pink for just a week each spring, the Unisphere takes on a timeless beauty. In this image, I positioned myself behind the blooming trees, using them to frame the Unisphere as the warm setting sun casts its light on the structure.
