Three Amounts of Light

Description
My photo, "Three Amounts of Light," was captured in Death Valley National Park during sunrise at Zabriskie Point. I wanted to capture something different from the typical image of the pointed rock formation. The textures in the hillsides fascinated me. As the sun rose over them, each tier not only revealed a different color of rock but also received a different amount of light. That’s when I found my composition.
