Description
My photo "Catching Light" from Joshua Tree National Park. On this particulate evening, I found myself scrambling around looking for a composition, as the beautiful light was fading. At the last moment, I walked over a hill and saw this scene. The perfectly shaped Joshua Tree in the distance, and the almost mirrored shape of a Cholla cactus in the foreground just catching the fading light. I quickly threw my camera on the tripod and snapped the few images that I then focus staked to create the final product, before the light was gone.
