Description
My photo, "Over There," was taken in Sunnyside, Queens. The reason these men are looking out their window and pointing is because the building across the street was on fire. That day, I was sitting in my apartment when I kept hearing more and more sirens. I went outside to find a building a few streets over engulfed in flames. I ran back home, grabbed my camera, and spent the next few hours photographing the scene. This shot ended up being my favorite photo of the day.
