Morning Shadows

My photo "Morning Shadows" was taken in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It's easy to fall in love with all of the colorful buildings in this city, but I wanted to capture a photo of them that had more interest. Walking around early one morning, with the sun still low in the sky, I noticed these interesting shadows that would cast on the color making it a much more dynamic scene. The lack of people on the streets also helped with the photos simplicity.
